Curated and Produced by Jayonna B. Sims, “Dreamgirls Reimagined” will take place on October 14, 2024 at City Winery Chicago. Focusing on the fictional Motown group the Dreams, famously inspired by the Supremes, the Dreamgirls explore stardom, competition, betrayal and love while climbing the 60's & 70's music industry ladder. This tribute show includes hit songs from the Dreamgirls movie and will be dramatically performed by the Jai Brernai Productions singers and dancers and curator & producer Jayonna Sims! Get ready for an empowering, interactive, and nostalgic experience that lets you reimagine the scenes and stellar singing from "Dreamgirls". Costumed performers are some of Chicago’s greatest recording artists and dancers. This show is performed with a phenomenal live band. It’s entertaining and comedic, while saluting a powerful story.
